What sort of treats can I give my ferret kits? €?

Hey, I’ve just got my two 8 week old hob kits, they are adorable. They do nip a fair bit and I want to stop that as soon as I can, i read that if you give them treats, they will associate your hands with something nice, what sort of treats are ok to give them? Would turkey meat (as in bernard mathews) be ok as a little treat?

Well, you can give them some fish oil/salmon oil as a treat; 1/2 a tablespoon a couple of times a week. This also provides vitamins and helps prevent hairballs.
A tablespoon of canned pumpin (not the pie filler) also prevents hairballs.
Ferretone or Ferretvite make good occasional treats.
A cheerio or two (plain) a couple of time a week is ok.
Even a piece of their own kibble can be appetizing when fed from your hand.
Best thing is the commerical ferret treats.
